berco-oasis

Since 1969, Berco has been designing and building tables to the high quality standards of its founder, Melvin Berkowitz. Mel believed that listening to his customers, taking care of his employees, and manufacturing contract grade furniture here in the US were the keys to building tables, and a business, that would stand the test of time.

Over 40 years later, Berco Designs continues to take pride in these time-tested values. Owner Mike Hojnacki is committed to US manufacturing and values the company’s team of talented and dedicated workers just as his predecessors did.

Berco has long stood for simple, clean design, quality construction, and incomparable customer service. The 2013 ownership transition brings welcome investments in all of these areas, as well as a renewed commitment to improving the customer experience by making it easier to find and order the perfect table for any space.

Sossego San Serif Logo

Sossego [so-SAY-go] is a Portuguese word that describes a uniquely Brazilian way of life, one of easy going warmth and bliss. Our award-winning Brazilian designers create hand-crafted furniture, lighting and art so that you too may experience sossego.

A week of Modern Art in 1922 birthed the Brazilian Modernism movement which was further propelled by Le Corbusier’s whirlwind travels through South America in the 1920s. French was the most widely spoken foreign language and architects flooded to the movement. The end of WWII propelled a further influx of Europeans to Brazil, precipitating a cultural exchange which continues today.

We are committed to using only sustainably harvested wood. Our manufacturing facility undergoes frequent and rigorous IBAMA audits to retain its certification of 100% sustainably harvested woods. For each product delivered we fund the planting of a tree in Brazil.

Our furniture is hand assembled and finished by craftsmen in Southern Brazil. Eight separate sandings create the buttery smooth finish of our products.

Uhuru Design is the Brooklyn-based New American furniture design firm specializing in bespoke residential and high-end commercial furniture.  Founded in 2004, Uhuru gained attention for its sustainable approach, utilizing reclaimed and found materials through a narrative design process. This design approach generated collections in the Smithsonian and Brooklyn Museums among many others, positioning Uhuru at the forefront of New American Design and contributing to popularizing the “Brooklyn” aesthetic.

Uhuru expanded its scope beyond bespoke residential furniture to encompass office furniture, adapting to the evolving landscape of New York and West Coast startup environments and the emerging “resimmercial” office aesthetic. Today, Uhuru focuses on delivering accessible design to mission-driven clients across residential, hospitality, fast casual, office, co-working, architecture, and interior design landscapes.

potocco_gray

Italian creativity, artisan tradition and international vocation are the distinctive traits of Potocco, a family-run company that has been studying and creating furniture for indoor and outdoor environments for almost a century.

Founded in 1919 by Domenico Potocco in Manzano (UD), as a small artisan workshop for the production of chairs, Potocco has evolved over the years into a large industrial reality, specialized in the production of home and contract furnishings, suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments.

A history of excellence that covers the entire 20th century, along a trail of growth which, from our participation to the first Salone del Mobile trade fair as a founding partner, has led Potocco to collaborate with important international design firms and achieve for itself an important role in the Made in Italy story of excellence.

Akustus Transparent

Here at AKUSTUS, we know that acoustic panels can be more than just sheets of material. That’s why we design. From wall coverings to ceiling fixtures, let’s make your space look and sound amazing.

Each panel is filled with microscopic air pockets that absorb sound energy, reducing noise and improving speech intelligibility. Pair that with the designs we have to offer and you’ll have a better space to be in.

AKUSTUS felt is made with 60% post-consumer recycled content originating from plastic water bottles. It’s also 100% recyclable, so you can feel good about using it in your space. We limit wastage, repurpose excess material and use recyclable packaging, all in pursuit of reducing our impact on the environment.

Over the years we’ve worked with designers and architects to come up with creative acoustic solutions for a wide variety of spaces and applications. Every interior deserves compelling acoustics, and we can make it happen together.

But we haven’t rested on our laurels—a commitment to non-stop enhancement and continuous improvement has ensured that our product remains at the forefront of sound masking technology. It’s now a recognized leader that has earned more than 20 awards for innovation, performance and ease of use.

Elegantly engineered, the LogiSon Acoustic Network is suitable for installations of any size and complexity—small zones, precise automated tuning, and industry-leading functionality allow it to be customized for any environment. Modio Color

K.R. Moeller Associates Ltd. is a global developer and manufacturer of sound masking technology, including the first networked sound masking, paging and music system: LogiSon Acoustic Network. K.R. Moeller is committed to product innovation and high-quality customer service, as well as to providing sound masking education for customers and related professionals. K.R. Moeller is headquartered in Burlington, Ontario, Canada and is a privately-held company.

MODIO addresses the hotel noise problem using a sound similar to soft airflow. It covers up intruding noises or reduces their disruptive impact by minimizing the amount of change between volume peaks and the guest room’s baseline background sound level. In the past, guests tried unsuccessfully to use the HVAC system, ‘white noise’ apps or other gadgets in this manner.
