Sound masking is a technology that adds a subtle, engineered background sound throughout a space in order to reduce distractions, and improve privacy. Unlike “white noise,” sound masking is specifically tuned to the frequencies of human speech, making conversations less intelligible at a distance while creating a more comfortable acoustic environment.
